Beauceron / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
April is a 2-3 year old female mix. She may not be a husky but she fits in perfectly with all her fellow husky rescue friends. She came to us after her family was no longer able to take care of her. April is about 50 pounds and is a bit shy when meeting new people. She does well with most male and female dogs, but can be selective. April will do best with another dog, preferably male, in her new home. She has done well with most of the dog she has met in her foster home, but she is easily intimidated by strong females. April will sit on command and prefers to be with her trusted people most of the time. She is learning to walk on leash and doing very well. She is house trained and for the most part can be trusted in the house. She does well in a crate for short periods of time. April especially enjoys sleeping in the same room and even on the bed if possible. She is calm and quiet during the night. She will let you know if she must go out, and even then is very patient.
